Cape Lookout Lighthouse
The Cape Lookout Lighthouse is located on the Southern end of North Carolina Outer Banks. It has a distinctive black and white diamond pattern, which point east to west. This diamond pattern distinguishes the Cape Lookout Lighthouse from any other Outer Banks Lighthouses. Standing 163 feet high, the lighthouse flashes every 15 seconds. 207 steps.

The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is located on Hatteras Island on the North Carolina Outer Banks. It has a distinctive black and white spiral pattern. This spiral pattern distinguishes the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse from any other Outer Banks Lighthouses. Standing 200 feet high, the lighthouse flashes every 7.5 seconds. 248 steps.

Bodie Island Lighthouse
The Bodie Island Lighthouse is located on Bodie Island (pronounced body), just south of Nags Head NC on the North Carolina Outer Banks. It has a distinctive black and white striped pattern. This striped pattern distinguishes the Bodie Island Lighthouse from any other Outer Banks Lighthouses. Standing 156 feet high and built in 1872, the lighthouse is currently being restored by the U.S. National Park Service.

Currituck Beach Lighthouse
The Currituck Beach Lighthouse is located in Corolla NC on the North Carolina Outer Banks. It has a distinctive natural clay brick construction. This natural brick color distinguishes the Currituck Lighthouse from any other Outer Banks Lighthouses, which are all painted black and white. Standing 162 feet high, the lighthouse flashes every 20 seconds. 214 steps.

Ocracoke Lighthouse
The Ocracoke Lighthouse is located on the Ocracoke Inlet on the North Carolina Outer Banks. It has a distinctive solid white color. This solid white color distinguishes the Ocracoke Lighthouse from any other Outer Banks Lighthouses, which are all painted black and white. Access to the top of the lighthouse is not allowed.
